MEET ANDREA

I truly love helping others. Whether it is a family matter, for personal growth or in business it is important to me to make a difference in people's lives. It is also important to me to have life balance: time to exercise, time with my husband, family, friends and dogs, and time to sleep!

In my private life, I like to read and throw clay on a wheel. I also like to invest in real estate, learn new things, and spend time traveling. My husband and I have been to CA, AZ, MN, NYC and all up the east coast together. We plan to go to Germany within the year! Having both grown up in Gainesville, FL the home of the University of Florida, my husband, Alan, and I are Gator fans. Well, really I follow his passion on this one!

He served as president of the Asheville UF alumni association for 3 years and so I helped out a lot (yes, that makes me First Lady, and I milked that! Why not?). I have served on several boards, including the local chapter for Life Coaches and the Asheville Association of Women Family Therapists. Currently, I am on the board for my homeowners association. I also served on a committee in FL to promote interracial understanding and volunteered as a mentor for teens at Camp Anytown Tampa Bay, which promotes education and understanding to combat bias, bigotry, and racism - a very powerful experience!
